Beckman Early Speech Therapy
Speech Language Pathologist
Ali Beckman, M.A., CCC-SLP, is a licensed Speech Language Pathologist and owner of Beckman Early Speech Therapy (BEST). While the majority of Ali’s career in Speech Language Pathology has been spent with children ages 0-3 as an Early Intervention Specialist, she specializes in a wide variety of speech and language delays and disorders in children elementary age and younger.
Communication Is More Than Spoken Words
A smile, a shoulder shrug, a point in a certain direction. These may not include spoken words, but they still communicate a message. Your child may need some assistance in communicating whether it is verbally or non-verbally. At BEST we specialize in helping your child communicate functionally.
A Whole Family Approach
Involving the whole family in the therapy process makes a huge impact. We want to see parents and families understand our techniques and be able to carry them out in their home environment. We are hopeful that our Whole Family approach enhances your ability to communicate with your child and help your child thrive.
What Motivates Your Child To Communicate?
What does your child enjoy doing? What gives them joy? What drives them? At BEST we take pride in considering ourselves non-traditional when it comes to motivating your child to communicate. Let us meet your child and indulge in THEIR interests.
“We had the pleasure of welcoming Ali Beckman into our home when our son was struggling with speech. Ali is exceptional at understanding and applying the skills necessary to work with young children. She demonstrates the compassion necessary for teaching and relating to worried parents. Ali is an all around wonderful person and we cannot say enough kind words about her!”
