Communication Is More Than Spoken Words

A smile, a shoulder shrug, a point in a certain direction. These may not include spoken words, but they still communicate a message. Your child may need some assistance in communicating whether it is verbally or non-verbally. At BEST we specialize in helping your child communicate functionally.

A Whole Family Approach

Involving the whole family in the therapy process makes a huge impact. We want to see parents and families understand our techniques and be able to carry them out in their home environment. We are hopeful that our Whole Family approach enhances your ability to communicate with your child and help your child thrive.

What Motivates Your Child To Communicate?

What does your child enjoy doing? What gives them joy? What drives them? At BEST we take pride in considering ourselves non-traditional when it comes to motivating your child to communicate. Let us meet your child and indulge in THEIR interests.

Group Therapy

Our engagement groups target social skills to foster speech and language development.

A treatment method or an educational method that will work for one child may not work for another child. The one common denominator for all young children is that early intervention does work, and it seems to improve the prognosis.” — Temple Grandin
